Ecclesiastes 4:12: “Through one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.  A cord of three strands is not quickly broken”  Solomon is emphasizing as age-old truth; there is strength in numbers.  But as you can see it doesn’t take a lot of numbers to increase your strength – just saying yes and stepping forward in a small way can truly make a difference in this world.

Widow sponsorship:

Sponsoring a widow provides monthly nutrition and hygiene products to secure their health. It can also include buying chickens/goats, sending them for training, or larger needs such as building a new home or buying beds.  The sky and heart are the limit of what can be done with sponsorship.

Teach a Widow:

Our widows are strong and tenacious! They want to learn new skills and have no way to obtain education.  We are providing various classes for them to learn the skill of basket making – bead work and even sewing.  Sponsoring a widow for an educational class would be a great way to help them out of their poverty.  Educational Class fee:  $100 per class (varies with class being offered)

Jiko (Oven) Project:

We built a simple oven at the John Paul 2 Rehabilitation Center in Monduli.  This oven is instrumental in baking bread to be served with peanut butter for the children and adults experiencing rehab services. They are continuing to learn to bake new things and teaching caregivers how to do this work.

Healthcare Outreach:

We have partnered with a couple Tanzania doctors who will travel monthly to the far interior regions of Tanzania.  Your support supplies them with local medicines, our transport cost and their ability to work for a day or two with our MBG team.  Outreach fee:  $750

HOW CAN WE MISSION TOGETHER?

Land and Community Center:  This has always been our dream!  Having a solid center for ALL of our recipients to be able to use for learning, growing, sharing and teaching will be the very best for our rural communities! Since the ones we serve our living in mud huts (if that) they do not have the proper place to “set up” and do work.  Imagine the difference in having a solid building – with a cement floor, cement walls, a solid roof, tables, chairs – a working kitchen inside, toilets and sinks with running water, safe water to drink and electricity.  We have imagined it for years and we hope and pray for this to become reality to grow our community.
Total cost:  $20,000 usd
Your gift of any amount will help us take care of the ones who are in need in Tanzania.  We give thanks for you and your help!  WE SERVE together!

We are a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization registered in the state of Wisconsin.
